Referee Clinic - 4 day clinic

If you are 14 years or older and are interested in being a referee this season please attend out referee clinic.

Dates 6/24, 6/26, 7/1, 7/3 from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Riverview Community Center

Referee inservice for referees that already have their license, July 27th from 1-5 pm at the Riverview Community Center

Mail in Registration

Registration and uniforms will be one fee this season!  Any child that will be 4 years old by July 31, 2013 is able to play this season!

We are done with our early walk in registrations. You can pay online and mail the paperwork and picture or mail everything to the club.

Please include the uniform order form with the registration form. Both forms are below.

The Season is 2013 and 2014 and you can put that on the top of the form!

If you would like to download 2 Membership Forms   sign both copies in blue or red ink and bring both signed copies along with the player's photo and copy of the player's birth certificate if they are new to our club or older than 13 years old.

Registrations and Uniforms are 1 fee! You can buy additional items and write one check, just mark the items on the uniform form.

What to send with the payment:

***  A 1” x 1” (non-Polaroid) head shot photo and nonlaminated with name on back (no hat or tinted glasses)-not needed  for U6

***  A non-returnable copy of the player’s certified birth certificate if they did not play for our club last year. (Hospital or Baptismal certificates cannot be accepted)

***  If your player is playing U14 & above please bring a copy of their birth certificate even if you already provided one in the past even if you already turned one in before

If you would like to pay with a credit card and start the registration process, please click the pay online button on the left side of the website.  The tab is just below the registration tab. There is an $8 additonal fee for online payment.

You will not be notified when we have receive the online payment or registration forms. If you are missing something you will receive an email and you will have 14 days to send in what is missing. If the missing item is not received in two weeks there is a $10 late fee.

Employee Volunteer Matching Program

Some employers have a volunteer matching program and you can donate the funds to the soccer club. Please contact the club for the EIN #.         Intel's matching program donation will help offset the increase cost for the soccer fields this season.

REMINDER - NO dogs at any soccer practices or games

While your child is at practice or at a game on a soccer field that RCSC has pulled permits for, whether it be a public park or school, that soccer field and all activity that occurs on that soccer field while a coach is holding a RCSC sanctioned activity falls under our CYSA insurance policies. The American River Youth Soccer League and California Youth Soccer Association have a strict policy of no dogs. RCSC cannot tell you you cannot have a dog at a public park, but the dog cannot be on or near the soccer field, players, coaches, or other parents. Any person participating in a soccer event who brings a dog to a venue, even if unaware of club/league rules and policies, will be asked to remove the dog from the venue. If the person refuses to remove the dog, any game in progress may be stopped by the official until the dog is removed.   

Wilson Trophy

Don't forget to order trophies through Wilson Trohpy. This is a GREAT fund raiser for our club. We order trophies anyway at the end of the season and if you order through Wildon Trophy the club will receive $1 for each trophy over $6. Wilson Trophy Company has a great selection too. They are located in Sacramento and you can go there to see the items if you like.

Raining Days - RCSC still plays in the rain on our fields!

Coaches:

Remember that soccer is an all weather sport.  CRPD almost never closes our fields due to rain.  In the rare event that this would happen in the future, we will put a message on our website and get an email out to you. 

Other Clubs playing on school or park fields may be governed by other guidelines.  If you are visiting a non-Rancho team, be sure that you're in touch with the host coach to ensure there are no last minute cancellations.  (Folsom is famous for this).  Opposing coach contact info is found in Teamsidelines.

Referees do have the authority to stop a game due to weather (and other reasons), but normally only do so when lightning is present.

Little boys and girls love a muddy field, as well as the older ones - good luck!  :)
